Italian industrial producer prices
increased by 1.6% in January on a monthly basis and by 4.4% on
an annual basis, compared to +.1.1% in December, Istat said on
Monday.
The national statistics agency said the rise was driven by
increases in energy prices, especially electricity and gas, on
the domestic market.
