Pope Francis, who is in Rome's
Gemelli hospital with bilateral pneumonia, knows about the
flooding that his hit the area of the port of Bahia Blanca in
his homeland Argentina and has claimed at least 16 lives and he
is praying for the people affected, the Vatican Press Office
said on Monday.
"Pope Francis is aware of the flood that has hit Argentina," the
Vatican said.
"He is close to the people of the Bahia Blanca area in thought
and prayer".
