Premier Giorgia Meloni is a great
leader and Italy is a very important ally of the US, President
Donald Trump said Monday.
Asked about possible new tariffs on Italy, Trump praised the
Italian PM's leadership qualities.
"She is a great leader," he said, stressing that Italy is a
"very important" ally for the United States.
