Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Antonio Tajani said Thursday that he has summoned the Russian
ambassador to Italy after Moscow declared Stefania Battistini, a
journalist for State broadcaster Rai, wanted over a report she
did covering Ukrainian forces operating in the Kursk region.
"I had the Russian Federation's ambassador to Italy summoned to
the foreign ministry in Rome to express our surprise at Moscow's
singular decision to include the journalist Battistini on the
list of wanted persons issued by the Russian Interior Ministry,"
Tajani said via X.
