The Ambassador of Italy in Belgrade, Luca Gori, opened the seminar 'Reggio Days in the Balkans - Pedagogy for pre-school children'. Two days of training dedicated to the Reggio Children pedagogical model. It is, said the ambassador, an opportunity to expand cooperation between Italy and Serbia in the field of childhood education.
The Reggio Emilia Approach is a type of pedagogical method for preschools that was born and developed in Italy thanks to Loris Malaguzzi in the years following World War II. The principles are that the child is a 'subject of rights' and a producer of knowledge and that the learning process takes place autonomously, within a network of social relations between the child, educators and the family.
