The opening of an Ice Desk in Armenia has been announced, based at the Italian Embassy, dedicated to promoting and strengthening trade between the two countries. The announcement was made during a ceremony on the occasion of the photo exhibition organised by the Italian Embassy in Jerevan, in collaboration with the Moscow-based Institute for Foreign Trade, which is also responsible for Armenia.
The exhibition, themed "Career Photography. A Tribute of Italian Photography to the Masters of the Compasso d'Oro", is being held at the HayArt Cultural Centre in Jerevan, as part of the 9th edition of the Day of Italian Design in the World.
The event, attended by numerous representatives of local authorities, the Diplomatic Corps and the world of business, design and culture, was inaugurated with speeches by the Ambassador of Italy to Armenia, Alessandro Ferranti, and the Director of the ICE Agency in Moscow, Alessandro Liberatori.
