The Italian Ambassador to Vilnius, Emanuele de Maigret, met yesterday in the Lithuanian capital with the Lithuanian Energy Minister, Zygimantas Vaiciunas, with whom he discussed opportunities for further development of bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Italy in the energy sector.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the development of renewable energy, the protection of critical energy infrastructure, and the role of new technologies in the energy of the future.
