The Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Defence, Matteo Perego di Cremnago, arrived in South Africa today to take part in the 'Africa Aerospace and Defence Exhibition 2024', at the head of a delegation from the General Secretariat of Defence. The Undersecretary will meet the Italian companies present at the Airshow with their own stand.
During his stay in South Africa, the Undersecretary will also hold bilateral talks with the South African Deputy Defence Minister, Bantubonke Holomisa, with the aim of further strengthening relations between Italy and South Africa in the defence sector.
At the end of the visit, Perego di Cremnago will visit the Zonderwater Military Cemetery to pay homage to the Italian fallen prisoners during World War II.
