Isabella Rossellini said on Instagram
Sunday that the big day of the Oscars has come where she is up
for a best supporting actress gong for her portrayal of a
strong-willed nun in Edward Berger's multi-nominated adaptation
of the Robert Harris thriller on cardinal conspiracy Conclave.
"Today is the big day @theacademy . Last night I was with my two
guardian angels and favorite actresses @lauradern and
#albarohrwacher and edoardo Ponti came to give me a kiss and
wish me well. Edoardo is Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti's son. I
am so moved," said the 72-year-old Italo-American daughter of
Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini.
