Italy's GDP grew by 0.1% in the fourth
quarter of 2024 with respect to the previous three months and up
0.6% compared to the October-December period in 2023, according
to seasonally adjusted and calender-adjusted data released by
Istat on Wednesday.
The data reported a "slight increase compared to preliminary
estimates", the national statistics bureau said.
The preliminary data released in January had registered flat
growth in the fourth trimester compared to the previous quarter
and a 0.5% increase compared to the October-December period in
2023.
