Stefania Nobile, a 60-year-old Italian
woman who served jail time for a infamous television sales scam,
was put under house arrest on Tuesday for alleged involvement in
a drugs and prostitution ring, sources said.
Nobile's former partner, Davide Lacerenza, the owner of Milanese
VIP nightclub Gintoneria, was also put under house arrest along
with a third person.
They allegedly provided drugs and prostitutes for clients,
making huge profits.
On Tuesday finance police were executing warrants to seize
900,000 euros worth of assets in relation to the probe.
Nobile was released from prison in 2013 after serving a
nine-year term over the TV sales scam.
Her more famous mother, Wanna Marchi, was also convicted.
