Pope Francis's condition has improved
slightly, the Vatican said on Saturday in its latest medical
bulletin.
The 88-year-old was admitted to Rome's Gemelli hospital on
February 14 and is being treated for bilateral pneumonia.
"The Holy Father's clinical condition over the last few days has
remained stable and, consequently, testifies to a good response
to the therapy," said the Vatican, which released its last
bulletin on the pope's condition on Thursday.
"There is, therefore, a gradual, slight improvement".
The bulletin said the Argentine pontiff does not have a fever
and his blood parameters were stable.
It added that the prognosis remains guarded.
