Sinner has qualified for the semi-finals of the ATP Finals in
Turin before hitting a ball in his final group match against
Daniil Medvedev later on Thursday thanks to American Taylor
Fritz losing the first set of his match against Australian Alex
De Minaur.
That means it is impossible for the 23-year-old to drop to third
place in the group even if he loses to Medvedev.
Sinner is top of the table with a 100% record after beating De
Minaur and Fritz in straight sets.
